Terms of Use & User Agreement

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to www.fastcharger.uk (the «Website») and the Fast Charger mobile application (the «App»).

These Terms of Use and User Agreement («Terms») govern your access to and use of:

  • The Website
  • The App
  • Fast Charger charging stations
  • Portable power banks
  • All related services (collectively, the «Service»)

By accessing, registering for or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (collectively, the «Legal Documents»).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. COMPANY INFORMATION

The Service is owned by Power Link Electronic Equipment Rental LLC (UAE), which holds certain intellectual property rights.

For users located in the United Kingdom, the Service is operated and managed by:

Fast Charger Ltd is responsible for UK service provision, payment processing and regulatory compliance.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You may use the Service only if:

  • You are at least 16 years old;
  • You have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
  • You provide accurate registration information;
  • You agree to these Terms and related Legal Documents.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials;
  • All activity conducted under your account;
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information.

We may suspend or delete accounts where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud or inaccurate information.

5. THE RENTAL SERVICE

Fast Charger provides a portable power bank rental service via physical charging stations.

We do not guarantee compatibility of charging cables with every device model.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at our discretion.

6. CHARGES & PAYMENT

6.1 Rental Pricing

Rental pricing is displayed within the App and/or at the Charging Station prior to rental.

Current pricing may include:

  • £3 per hour (capped at £9 per 24-hour period).
  • Promotional or venue-specific rates, including but not limited to £1.99 introductory rates or £5 capped daily rates where applicable.
  • After 48 hours, the power bank is deemed purchased and a charge of £30 will apply.

All applicable rates will be clearly displayed before confirmation of rental.

Fast Charger reserves the right to vary pricing by location, promotion, subscription plan or commercial partnership.

6.2 Deposits and Non-Return

Where applicable, Fast Charger may place a temporary authorisation or deposit on your selected payment method at the start of a rental.

If a power bank is not returned within 48 hours, the device will be deemed purchased and the applicable non-return charge (currently £30) may be deducted from the authorised deposit or charged to your payment method.

If the device is returned within the permitted period, any deposit or authorisation will be released in accordance with your payment provider’s processing times.

6.3 Subscriptions

Weekly and monthly subscription plans are available as described in the App. Subscription terms, limits and overage charges are disclosed prior to purchase.

6.4 Payment Processing

Payments may be processed via:

  • Linked debit or credit card;
  • Apple Pay;
  • Google Pay;
  • Other supported payment providers.

All payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

7. LATE RETURNS & NON-RETURN

If a power bank is not returned within 48 hours of rental:

  • The device will be deemed sold to the User;
  • A non-return charge (currently £30) will apply;
  • Any authorised deposit may be converted into a completed charge;
  • No refund will be issued once the non-return charge has been processed.
8. REFUNDS & DISPUTES

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, you must contact support@fastcharger.app promptly.

Disputes will be handled in accordance with UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. USER OBLIGATIONS

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully;
  • Damage charging stations or equipment;
  • Circumvent technical safeguards;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the App or Website;
  • Interfere with Service operations.

You are responsible for proper and safe use of rented equipment.

10. MARKETING, PROMOTIONS & PERSONALISED ADVERTISING

Where you provide explicit consent, Fast Charger may send:

  • Promotional offers;
  • Subscription upgrades;
  • Service announcements of a marketing nature;
  • Partner venue or brand promotions.

Communications may be delivered via email, SMS, push notification or in-app message.

If you consent to personalised advertising, we may use your rental history, station usage data and interaction patterns to tailor promotional communications. This may constitute profiling under applicable data protection law.

You may withdraw marketing or personalised advertising consent at any time via your account settings or by using the unsubscribe link included in communications.

11. WEBSITE TRACKING & COOKIES

Our Website uses cookies and tracking technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are activated only after your consent.

You may manage cookie preferences at any time.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Subject to that:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
  • We are not liable for device damage caused by misuse;
  • We are not liable for compatibility issues outside our control.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant rental.

13. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, branding, logos and technology relating to the Service remain the property of Fast Charger Ltd or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute or reproduce any part of the Service without permission.

15. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
  • Required by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are material, we will notify users via the Website or App.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
